First, you need to find the right wood such as: Cedar, Cottonwood, Willow, Basswood, Juniper, Aspen, Poplar, Buckeye. gouge a socket into the wood. You will also need a socket for the top of the stick so when you move your bow back and forth the stick will spin freely. Try using wood, bone, or some knives have sockets that are useful. Place a large piece of bark under the wood to catch the hot ash and embers. Once you get a nice amount of hot ash or embers throw on some loose kindling and blow until you start a small fire. Now simply continue to add to it until you get a nice campfire going.
